Sit your Exams at the Study Centre
Students International Study Centre students as well as external private candidates may sit many of the exams offered by AQA, CIE and Edexcel examinations at our Melton Mowbray Study Centre site in Leicestershire. We also accept private candidates for Cambridge ESOL and TOEIC examinations.
You can register with us to take an examination for the first time or for resits.

Sitting an exam with us as a private candidate is very simple. All you need to do is to return the registration form to us along with:
- Proof of identity (i.e passport copy)
- The correct examination unit code
In due course you will receive a statement of entry through the post notifying you of exam dates and times. On the day of the examination you will need to bring your statement of entry with you along with a proof of identity.
One to One Tuition
If required, we can offer you one to one tuition at our Study Centre to prepare for your Examination. Our dedicated and experienced staff will help ensure that you achieve the best grade possible.
Private candidates need to ensure that they are fully familiar with the specification requirements and the format of the examinations.
Fees
Our Exam Centre fees are £40 per examination paper (or module, if the subject is modular) sat in addition to the individual examination paper fees, which vary by subject and board. Please contact us so we can provide specific and accurate fee information. All fees are payable in advance and apply to all examinations except the TOEIC Test.
TOEIC Test fees are £115 (payable in advance).
